Stayed there for 2 nights, loved it. It had a marvellous setting so close to the centre, the shops/restaurants in that area and the castle and all of the shops/restaurants in that area. Tony was the best host ever. We got a microwave oven, a sofa bed, and a stone fireplace. We spent evenings admiring courtyard views.

Really enjoyed a sofa set and a living area available. Bathroom was very good. It was in a particularly good place. The host helped me a lot: D

We had a lovely stay in Colchester very close to the castle and all of the shops/restaurants in that area, Colchester Town train station and the town centre. Easy check-in was appreciated. The host was always available. We liked location, it was marvellous and good, in the middle of the city.

Clean, spacious flat with large bed, free WiFi, and big TV. Convenient allocated parking outside. Responsive and helpful host. Perfect for a visit or relaxation.

Location is excellent, with shops and restaurants nearby. the flat is also close to the castle, offering a convenient base for exploring. the host was very friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met.

The flat itself looked tired and in need of refurbishment. the kitchen appliances, particularly the oven and hob, appeared old and worn.

Great value for money, the room was clean, well-presented, and had a massive and comfortable bed. The location was convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the river walk. The staff was responsive, helpful, and made us feel at home.

More breakfast items could be offered, like a can opener or scissors.

The location of the flat is extremely convenient, with the town centre just a short walk away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a pub nearby. the flat itself is beautifully decorated and has a homely feel. the bed is extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

It is worth noting that there was no conditioner or body wash in the bathroom, despite there being holders for them.
